In RP with https://mistermech.deviantart.com/we had a bit of a Weirdmageddon happen, where a cult called Children Of Chaos causes great havoc through a ritual spreading fields of distortion which power boosts anything magical and mystical to ridiculous and chaotic levels.

A bit burned out on everything else I was supposed to work on, so I ended up doodling some of the effects from that RP bit, just to draw something.

• Money Shot’s artifact that makes him able to turn into goo which he uses for infiltration and information gathering goes overdrive, fusing with him and makes him lose control over his powers, leaving him as a gooey puddle on the floor.
• Nemesis already had issues with black outs and aggressive behaviour she can’t remember, now still conscious as the inner beast and shadow monster within her takes over to create havoc.
• Flower Basket got great magic in her but hardly any control through a weak horn and lack of training (brought up by non-unicorns). Gets a powerboost out of her control, causing great chaos around her while her body tries to handle the channeling of raw power.
• Little Silver Deluxe has been haunted by the negative residue of a former bodyguard who abused him whenever nopony would notice. In response to suspicious of this his older brother Caesar killed the bodyguard and made it look like he just ran away from his duty without explanation. The spirit dying so suddenly it has no clue what killed it, it just clings to the foal it used to torment. The power boost making it able to go full poltergeist, pissed off by its own death. To everypony else Silver was having a seizure blocking his airways. To Silver, it was the ghostly image of his former tormenter Stern trying to choke the life out of him.
• Hyper Hart the superspeedy hero was in the party trying to stop the cult’s ritual, but gets caught in the distortion fields and finds herself fused to the floor, unable to use her powers to help in the chaotic fight with the cultists.
• Kirke the Siren was kept in captivity for trying to destroy the city in another event, shrunk to pony size. The power boost going through the city makes her able to grow back to her original form and size, smashing up the prison. Currently peeking into a cell of a delicious looking inmate, Prism.

So much more chaos happened through out the great city of Goatham City, but the locale heroes managed to stop the ceremony and call back the distortion waves. Although great damage had already been done and half of the cultists escaped including their highpriest. Now they must lick their wounds and start the cleanup in the aftermath.

Was quite the adventure.
