Art trade with MustLoveFrogs
Here is my part of an art trade with thereat and lovely MustLoveFrogs.
It’s still a work in progress cause there is only a temperer position of color for now.
Okay I need your advices about two things please ^^
I wanted to make a simple background with flat color and black line, like a sort of glass art. But as I work on it, I’m asking myself if it wouldn’t be better to make a full shadow background.
The second things is that I’m not sur about my color choose for the background. I want to forrest light with lots of little patch of shadow and light. Not sur I’m able to do it properly. But shouldn’t the inside of the forrest way more dark ?
Edit : 11.05.17
I change so many things !!
In fact I make a big big mistake and completely ruins the old one. So I restart the draw again. Not just a classic ctlr Z like on digital art, but a complete reset!!!!!! I return to a new blank paper leaf and make a new draw. From the first little pencil sketch to the final watercolor touch. Damn, trad art is ruthless XD
I try some new things with this one and I find the result interesting. I want to play more with color and improve my light study…. there is still lots of work before I’ll be satisfied enough to start my comic, but I make some progress.
All of this was heavily inspired by the amazing work of blix-it She’s a really great artist both with composition, color, anatomy, expression…. I’m in love with their art !! Plus she’s actually working on a comic about women love. So it’s pretty convenient to be inspired by their work to draw this two adorable lesbian pones^^
This Junior Gala Babs and Twist belongs to the great, the wonderful, tha amazing MustLoveFrogs !
I hope you like what you see 😉
