So here’s one of my old characters: Littlewing.
 
Littlewing is an adventurous little pegasus pony who has no place he truly calls home. He likes to explore all around the world, Not so much for the wealth or glory, but for the thrill of it-  
Ok that was a lie, glory is a huge part of it too. He loves to recite tales of his adventures whenever he gets a chance to rest and share a round of cider with other ponies. X3
 
His name comes from where he grew up, see poor Littlewing was orphaned as a foal, but was taken in by a flock of griffons. His adoptive family raised him in their lifestyle, hence why he’s more at home hunting on the wind (and why he’s kind of cocky and not the best at social interactions that don’t involve him boasting).
 
One of his more usual characteristics-apart from his size (he’s actually quite tall for a pony, think between Shining and Big Mac tall)-is his rather unusual diet. See, his upbringing amongst carnivores meant that in order to fit in he learned to develop a taste for meat-fish specifically. He filed down a few of his teeth to form canines, that allow him to chew it easier. He quite likes his seafood, raw or cooked! This habit however is usually regarded as distasteful-if not outright abhorrent by his fellow ponies, another reason why he prefers to wander, instead of trying to live in pony society. <:P
 
Not to say he has no contact whatsoever. A few times he has worked freelance for the Crown, pathfinding and exploring the undiscovered places of the world. Especially over oceans, since his taste for fish leaves him more free to spend weeks at a time at sea, with only a cloud-bed for shelter come the night. ^ ^
 
 
I made him as part of a (sadly discontinued) RP. It was a group project that worked on rotation; for each session one player would write the idea for the story, and then we’d all follow the lead and then make it our own from there. The theme of the RP was ’whacky adventures on the high seas’, and the storyteller getting drunk before coming up with the idea for his/her chapter was not only encouraged but also practised constantly! :D
 
All in all it was a fun time, so fun I actually brought him back into another RP which, from the way the other players where acting I think was supposed to be a Pony Version of Game of Thrones. I say “I think” because I was playing Littlewing as himself, so he didn’t care about all the politics and only wanted to go hydra hunting while chugging booze like Berry Punch on Friday night… X3  
I was the only one having fun with that campaign, as you might imagine…which might have been the reason it drifted apart after a few sessions. :<
 
Anyway, here’s my little adventuring pegasus! I’m thinking that someday I might write about some adventures of his on my FIMFiction account, adapted for a novel form of course~ :3
