It’s Father’s day in sweden again!! Mine got a shirt, a walk in nature, movies and takeaway pizza. Not the fanciest by far, but this year you just gotta do the best with what you’ve got. I hope all the dads out there have had as best of a day as the current time allows :)
 
For this occasion, I decided to draw Capper and his two kids. For a few reasons; one, I’ve been meaning to draw a bit more of Snowflake and his sister Zini, ever since I sort of added his storyline to Zodiac’s. Two, it also let me show his slight design change -he used to have a dark marking on his back, which I’ve removed. When looking at cats with heat-dependant markings this large, it seems like they often also cover some part of the back, or the entire back is a slightly darker color… but I’ve decided to stray from realism a bit, becuase I thought it looks better ^^
 
And third, my main reason actually, is that I realised that Capper’s the only single father in my nextgen ‘verse. And, it’s like -being a good single parent seems like it takes such work and dedication, all day, every single day, and I wanted to give that just a little recognition <3
