Bio:  
Borealis is a very sweet and caring mare to those she loves. Getting quite up there in age, she chooses to love rather than hate in most situations, but never. Forgets. Anything. She can be quite snarky if you catch her on an off day, but otherwise, she stays very quiet and calm around everyone, always giving a weak smile in return to anything said. She was born blind, but finds her way around well enough by now, having always resided in her current home with the aid of her adopted daughter and anyone else that may be around. Though her directional skills aren’t perfect, her singing voice is beautiful, reaching close to angelic, and sings in local choirs and especially when by herself or cleaning. (Sometimes she sings thinking she’s alone when in reality she’s in the grocery store or another place in a crowd.) Accompanied with her blindness comes insomnia. Borealis has a problem differentiating between day and night at times, making her sleep schedule get messed up at times. When this is mentioned to her, she gets anxious and stays up for days on end with little sleep, worried to be the further outlier in the community.
 
 
She always wanted children, but sadly was barren and is now far too old for anyone’s magic to help her conceive. She was completely alone in her house until one day she ventured into the orphanage and her life was never the same. Her and her now daughter Cara clicked almost immediately, sharing Borealis’s love of music and the arts. They both went home together that day and have been close ever since.
