Some say a mother’s job is never done, and since it is Mother’s Day (here, at least), I decided to do a simple picture full of motherly love. Here we have Pear Butter, watching over a sleeping Applejack. I’m sure she’s looking at her full of pride and happiness, feeling glad of the mare she’s become over the years. Let’s be honest, there’s no way any kind of parent would not be proud of someone like Applejack. Especially with the kind of values and interests as the Apple Family (and adjacent, considering Pear Butter)! She’s kind, dependable, cherished the town over, caring, helpful… she’s a great friend, an amazing granddaughter that takes good care of Granny Smith, and a great mother figure to Applebloom. I’m sure nothing could make Pear Butter prouder.
