There are so many Sparity foals out there, and many of which look pretty similar. I’ve always wanted mine to look different from the rest, to stand out in he crowd. My first ever design of Amethyst had hair, but after realising that 95% of Sparity foals have hair/hair-spines, I soon changed the design. She has head spines just like her dad, not a single hair. My previous design of Amethyst was four-legged and very pony-looking with a few dragon-like qualities. But so do many other Sparity foals (for example the famous kilala97’s Crystal Clarity).

So I decided on a more draconic design. I researched mlp-style dragons, and from my research I created this design. I’m pretty content with it. :D
