I was mainly referring to the general decline of Derpi over the past couple of years. I mean yeah, there’s still plenty of people with decent taste over there, but overall it just ain’t what it used to be. Your analogy is still mostly true though, all things considered.

Spanish, but the word is, as far as I know, exclusive to Puerto Rican culture. The word is supposed to be spelled ‘guapa’, which means handsome or attractive, however we also use it to say if someone is crazy for whatever reason and the way we pronounce it in that context sometimes sounds more like ‘Wapa’ (try to say guapa really fast). The word is also used as the name of a local TV station, which was based on an acronym, and is more known that way and that TV channel likes to make news shows and sitcoms more on the “silly fun” side, which fits the name, at least years ago anyway (they stopped making actually funny sitcoms and news shows making fun of every politician of every party and celebrity due to them being ‘offensive’, you can guess why, whats on now is just trash).
