Backstory: When Super Pop was growing up, she had no idea what her destiny was. While she enjoyed a lot of things, such as playing the launchpad or making stopmotion videos, she felt like she was unhappy when she did those things, and as a result, she was kicked out of the house for not having her cutie mark at a certain age.
 
Super Pop tried to find her destiny by traveling around the “big” cities of Equestria, but there was no opportunity for her there. It didn’t help that it exposed her to horrible things, such as harassment and stigma. Until Super Pop settled into Ponyville when she realized that she’s supposed to do what makes her happy. As a result, she tried new things, such as blowing bubbles, watching movies, etc. as well as returning to her “old” interests, such as playing the launchpad, and those things made her a lot happy than she expected. She discovered that her happiness doesn’t depend on what she has, but rather, what she thinks. She also believes that anyone can do whatever makes them happy as long as it’s not hurting anyone.
 
Because of her passion in playing music, she befriended a stallion who was also a launchpad musician, that he let her stay over at his place. However, the two remained friends because they saw each other as such, and Super Pop had a preference in older ponies (though not too old; usually 5-10 years her senior).
 
When it came to the problems of her friends, Super Pop was usually able to help solve them in a positive way. She helped Neko Star get over a breakup with Stanley Steel. She even helped Destiny Blood get together with both Cheesy and Magic Muse after going through an emotional dilemma. Soon, Super Pop met up with Destiny, Irene Sky, Sweet Peach, Neko, Clover Sparks, and Blossom Breeze after their sudden connection with the Special Gems, and as a result, they teamed up as the Squad, with Super Pop representing the Gem of Happiness. Super Pop grew very close to her comrades, especially Sweet Peach and Clover Sparks, due to the fact that they’re all single and have bubbly personalities.
 
Super Pop went through the most difficult experience in her life when she learned that she can’t control the emotions of other ponies. When they were going through depression/anger issues, she tried to cheer them up, thinking that it would help solve their problems, but it only did more harm than good. It wasn’t until Super Pop learned to let other ponies express how they feel, and not have their feelings bottled up. She even learned that other ponies should be happy whenever they feel like it, not by force or pressure.

I’m really happy with this sweetie’s new design. I created her back in late 2017, though I had no idea why I created her or what her destiny was at that time. However, realizing how much she had a positive influence on me and the fact that she helped me during the time when I was about to lose interest in the things that I enjoy, such as MLP, I’ve decided to rewrite her personality and bio to tie in to my experiences with her. Also, when I assigned her to her Special Gem, which was Happiness, it was purely a coincidence.
