Also, this is why I figure Twilight’s display for the Saddle Arabian diplomats was so impressive and why Fluttershy was so worried. Levitating one creature is extremely difficult, but many all at once? It’d be like juggling kittens. Same for why Twilight was never able to self-levitate until the home stretch of her gradual power creep prior to becoming an Alicorn, and why she was only able to do it as a reflex rather than intentional spell.
