Mulberry picks up the can and examines it in confusion. Perhaps it’s visible to her, but not to anyone else? She isn’t sure how she would test this with the monsters outside the apartment. It would have to be done very carefully.
She pulls out the book, and trying to ignore the annoyingly loud guard searches the book for what she can find on the “MOON” rune. Near the end there is a letter from someone who studied the effects of said rune, and she notes that for both the “SUN” and “MOON” rune the time of day can greatly effect the strength of the enchantment. The author describes enchanting one of the college’s telescopes with “MOON”, “BOUNTY”, and “GIFT”. When she stared through it during the day the lens was blindly bright. On the other hand when used during the night it gave the writer greater clarity than her eyes alone. The last bit explains that there seems to be a minimum size for the object enchanted. The professor tried to use it on a pair of glasses, and then a monocle. Neither of which worked.
