Sometimes you can’t muster fake in-character shock for something incredible you already learned out-of-character. And that’s fine. But it does sometimes lead to amusing non-reactions.

We played and recorded some more D&D this past weekend! There was a dragon in a dungeon, even!

DM: Sooo… yeah. In the time it takes for Twilight to visit her brother and return to base, the rest of the party’s plan is a success. Twilight comes back to find them trying on their new bridesmaid dresses.
Twilight Sparkle: That’s… slightly worrying without context. But nevermind that! Girls, Cadance is a brainwashing traitor and my brother is in big trouble!
Applejack: Yep, sounds about right.
Rarity: Mmhmm.
Rainbow Dash: Good to know.

Twilight Sparkle: The whole city is in danger and you’re all trying on *dresses*. Could you at least take this a BIT more seriously?
Applejack: Like this wasn’t the other boot-drop we were waitin’ for the whole time.
