My favorite chubby mermare <3
 
Zapple Pie, whenever she wants some alone time or has had a long day, tends to take a swim. And because of her half hippogriff (or seapony, when they were hiding) heritage, her underwater form is just as natural as her everyday body. Usually, Zapple takes a dive in the Friendship School’s moat (which is surprisingly deep and meant for any species that needs/prefers water) but when there’s time to travel, she visits Mount Aris with her mothers for more deep-sea swimming. If she’s not working hard at Sugarcube Corner or playing pranks with bestie Hullabaloo, she’s relaxing in the school’s moat and only occasionally (and playfully) shooting water at students and staff. She holds traits from both sides of her parents, even when in her mermare form, like having pony ears and front hooves while still losing her beak and having average hippogriff-shaped wing-fins while underwater.
