Name: Minerva Redelin Veleveteen Cake (Minnie Red Velvet)
 
Family: Pound Cake and Flurry heart (biological parents), Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich (Adoptive parents), Rum Cake and Fondue (Siblings)
 
Bio: Teens will be teens, no matter how magical. This fact came to a head when Flurry Heart came to ponyville for a visit and met a local baker boy, and they “fell in love”. For all of four days, before they got bored and the princess went home. But by the time she got back to the Crystal Empire, 17 year old Flurry Heart knew she was pregnant, and that was a huge huge problem. Flurry’s track to beloved princessdom was going perfectly, she made appearances, blessed marriages, saved equestria once or twice, and was overall a model royal. But this would throw a wrench into the whole deal. The public was outraged at her birth as an alicorn, and her parents were 25 and married. Pound was informed by letter of his mistake, and he went to his favorite auntie Pinkie for comfort. After listening to Pound blubber about the whole ordeal Pinkie got an idea. Why waste a perfectly good baby? Pinkie and Cheese were here with open arms! So that was the story: Flurry Heart was now a heroic surrogate mother. The baby came and all was well…ish. It turns out that Pinkie’s hellish night babysitting the cakes all those years ago was not exactly normal. Pound and Pumpkin had a condition called macromaginesia, where a foal is born with a disproportionate amount of magic. It gets better with growth and age, but as babies it presents itself in overwhelming bursts of magic that are… challenging to deal with. On top of all that, Minnie was born an alicorn. Luckily, Pinkie and Cheese were accustomed to chaos and together kept their new babies magic-related-accident body count to a minimum. Minerva herself is am odd duck. Usually sporting an all knowing thousand yard stare, shes not exactly easy to read. But she’ll develop better social skills with age, right? right??
