Phoenix: THISTLE! You look amazing!!  
Thistle: [Pawing at the ground] It’s my sister’s dress. I look weird and too pinkish.  
Phoenix: Nonesense! Oh my gosh, you look beautiful!!  
Thistle: …Really?  
Phoenix: You are the prettiest person here! Gosh, will you do me the honour of having a quick dance?!  
Thistle: …Yeah sure, whatever…whateves….yeee…  
Phoenix: YAY!! I’m the luckiest mare in Equestria!

Oh, Thistle…be honest with your emotions.  
Phoenix and Thistle have always liked each other but that fact has been lost in translation. Feefee is very complimentary and affectionate but Thistle sorta pushes her away because she’s so nervous. I think Feefee knows how Thistle feels but is polite enough not to force her.  
However, Feefee always goes out of her way to invite Thistle to events and be as kind as possible to her.
