This sketch turned out quite well, I think. I’m quite proud of it.

Inspired by an RP scene with MisterMech
Sunbeam, my eight legged Dislestia ship babu, does occasionally grow antlers in the spring but that’s a slow process giving time to adjust. This though, is a forced spurt of antler grow without his consent to kickstart the natural chaos magic inside of him. It is as unpleasant and painful as it looks.

I think I got the anatomy and blood looking just right in this, I don’t always feel this proud about simple sketches. But that’s probably because I usually keep my sketches much more simple, compensating by splatting some colour on. I took my time with this one so I dare to be proud with the result although it’s meant to show pain and discomfort.
