Meet Matoka :3
 
Matoka is a tribal pony, who was helped raised in a forest rather then raised out in the desert. She helped the tribe, as both a healer and a hunter, gathering food and fur for her tribe.
 
She was born with a unique gift, of being born with a giant bear spirit to protect her. She can summon the spirit at will, and the spirit also comes out to protect her when it senses that she is in danger or needs help.  
Also with this, she now as the ability to sense other ponies spirit animals, as well as the ability to speak to them. Only she can see and talk to other spirit animals, ll the other ponies think she is crazy X)
 
Matoka also never learned how to swim, as she has a fear of water and is a terrible swimmer. She’d be unwilling to go into like, even ankle deep water X)
 
She is a friendly and patient pony, but she can have trouble with reading social cues and such, which can result in her becoming really awkward.  
She was chosen as a representative of her tribe to join Twilight’s friendship school. She is currently doing a lot of literature and medical courses at the school, and also became best friend with another tribal pony, Woohitike.
