Personality/Background:  
Known for his unwavering loyalty to his friends, family, and subjects, he has a fierce desire to protect all those that are dear to him. He always puts others before himself, much like his father, and he does everything he can to help in whatever way he can. Even though he is an alicorn and a prince, he never thinks of himself as better or higher than others. In fact, he takes offence when people view him as a snobby, uptight socialite.
 
Being the son of the Cadence, he is known for his charm and good looks. Many suitors, stallions and mares alike, throw themselves at him, and he does his best to be as polite and kind to them as he can. He’ll even take it upon himself to try and help those who fall for him move on so that they’re not hung up on him forever.
 
He has a strong sense of duty to protect his loved ones and subjects, and he doesn’t take kindly to any threats towards his kingdom or family. He is very protective of his family, especially his cousin Luminous Moon; he watched her grow up and he’s seen how the subjects of Equestria treat the Draconequus hybrid.
 
Relationships:  
He loves his parents dearly, and he shares a close relationship with both of them. He has been training with his father since he was old enough to hold up weapons with his magic, and the two have spent many training sessions together to bond. He loves his mother dearly, and whenever he’s troubled or stuck, he turns to her for advice. She worries about him greatly when it comes to fighting, but she knows that he can handle himself. After all, her husband is strong and capable, and with him training their son, she knows that he’ll be alright.
 
He has a strong sense of duty towards his siblings. Since Flurry Heart, his older sister, is training to take the throne, he does everything he can to keep her safe and to help her train. His younger brother, Crystal Lance, is his second in command. He knows that his brother is capable of many great things, and he made him second in command to prove those things. He feels least connected with his youngest sister, Esperanza, though he does his best to try and connect and get to know her.
 
He tends to be very overprotective of his cousins, Luminous Moon and Elios, especially the daughter of the moon. He sees how badly they are bullied, and how they are looked down upon, so he does everything he can to protect them. He has, on more than one occasion, flown from the Crystal Empire to Canterlot just to put some aristocratic snobs in their place for putting down his family.
 
He is distrustful towards the oldest child of Luna and Discord, Cracked Mirror. Something about the chaos being sets him off, and it’s clear that the Draconequus is up to something, and that something is not good.

>When Luminous or Elios are asked to go on diplomatic related missions, or if they just travel in general, he is almost always the one assigned to protect them
