Another piece for the Roan RPG Project. More about the flutter ponies I designed for a while back.

There is the butterfly kind and then there are the moths.
It’s left open for anypony to decide to whether or not they just see these little creatures as dumb bugs that just happen to have an equine appearance, or as actual fay or just another sentient species with an insectoid appearance and behaviour. To create some debate among ponies if it’s ethical to add them to insect collections and capture them in jars. Can’t be sure they are not intelligent just because they haven’t found a way of communication yet.

Reusing old pony designs made for the Roan project a while back, from the species bust package which appears in the first main book. Always fun to reuse designs like that.
Still making more art for this project and still not showing all of it, the rest will be in the book and its additional books, hint hint, nudge nudge, wink wink.
