I started this drawing on April Fools as part of my “leaving the horse fandom for the furries” but I guess I ended up taking it much further than I had originally anticipated… Regardless, I’m happy with how the background came out! I took a lot of inspiration from aJVL’s art style and colour palette, which was a nice refresher from my usual painted backgrounds.

Bit of a remake of an older piece I did of Deerlight Sparkle back in 2018 for Equestria Daily’s Newbie Artist Training Grounds. I don’t think I share any style resemblance of that piece anymore. ^^;
