Been missing a proper, official ref of Flower Basket here. Been RP’ing her a lot in different RP-verses, so I ended up drawing an alternatice Flower Basket too.

Just a shy little dork of a filly who likes to read and research, with an uncontrollable stuttering. All new knowledge is soaked up like a sponge and she got a good hunch for where to look something up during any research. Orphaned rather young when losing her mother, never knowing her biological father. Adopted by a kind hearted gryphon who did his best to give her a good, caring upbringing.

Then comes the alternative version, a possible path based on things in the Rp with AngryLittleBurd, where his Dr. Unit is being a bad influence on the filly’s curiosity and morality. Not good idea to take a pony who doesn’t sleep or eat as a role model. Also the fact he’s a sociopath who only sees other ponies as guinea pigs for his research.

In the other version her horn is blackened because she isn’t good at controlling her magic. Trying any complicated spell has a tendency of backfiring by her losing control of how much magic energy is let loose from her horn. In that RP-verse she has been pushed a few many times to magic burn-out at different situations.
