Now this should’ve happened in “Equestria Girls: Spring Breakdown.”

When I heard of the special, I hoped against hope that The Storm King would return, and play as the main villain. Oh well. As for this pic, since I’ve been making tv show stylized versions of one of my top favorite MLP:Fim villains, I decided to create a scene where he has his enchanted storm back thanks to the Staff of Sacanas. Instead of using the storm design from “My Little Pony the Movie,” I used a screencap from “Spring Breakdown.” I definitely wanted to make a background of it, but as you can see there are some complications to which deters me for the time being; some of the clouds’ opacity levels have dropped, as in some of the clouds are nearly transparent, making it impossible to figure out which is which.

My real challenge from this point on was changing The Storm King’s coloration to be in his dark surroundings. It was very difficult to figure out because you don’t just simply lower the lightness in the hue/saturation properties adjustment, you also have to tamper with the hue and saturation to make it fit. To tell the truth, it’s not totally accurate, it’s only off by 2% margin. I’ve experimented with the properties adjustment by taking a screenshot of the Equestria Girls during the storm as my template. Then, I took a screenshot of them before the storm-in a clear setting-and tinkered with the adjustments. As I mentioned, I was only able to be off by 2%. But it’s the closest to what I can accomplish.

I was thinking the same thing.
If I’d done it, I’d done it he was still living but trapped in one of his stone pieces; karma for his sins. And it was in the human world, used as some decoration in the ship. And a few humans who worshipped him helped him for darkness can free him. They set up traps such as poison in some of the food and human flesh. And a monster among the pets. And drug in Applejack’s drink. And arranging for the boy who Rarity fell for. And EG-Rainbow’s instinct accidentally messed up the traps. But the Storm King takes darkness from the Mane ones. Sunset, EG-Twylight, EG-Pinkie, EG-Rarity, and EG-Applejack each giving to darkness by ignoring EG-Rainbow out of arrogance, greed, vanity, jealousy, doubt and prejurdice. They ignore EG-Rainbow more concern about their own needs than others. EG-Fluttershy felt something but was afraid of EG-Twilight and Sunset being mad.
However, EG-Soarin believed EG-Rainbow. And Fizzlepop tries to warn EG-Twilight and Sunset through a mirror, but they ignore her (similar to Peter ignoring Uncle Ben). EG-Rainbow heeds Fizzlepop and goes to Equestria with her to find out more. And joins forces with her twin and FIzzlepop as well as more to fight the Storm King.
The Storm King does return. And he gloats, including how the Mane ones allowed him to use them because they chose their own needs over helping others as EG-Rainbow did. And he reveals Twilight’s sins in the MOvie including the gambit to steal from Queen Novo. Sunset accuses him of lying until the Storm King reveals the truth. Basically, the scenario when the enemy hurts the hero by comparing him/her to himself/herself. And he tries to tempt the two Rainbows to take revenge on their Twilights, only for them to resist.
And I also thought of after the fight, Fizzlepop gives the Mane ones a firm yet fair scolding about ignoring Rainbow and denying their responsibility. And also pointing out EG-Rainbow earn a boy (EG-Soarin) for her self-sacrifice while EG-Rarity lost hers for being self-serving.
I think it be grand if the movie’s lesson was about responsibility. The Storm King returned because the Mane ones deny responsibility. EG-Rainbow prove a heroine coz she accept it and risk her own life to stop him; even choosing to forgive the Twilights. It be sweet if the EG-version saw the flashback of Twilight’s sins in the movie; instead of going berserk as the Storm King wanted, she reacts with compassion as Twilight did for Fizzlepop. And she hugs the pony version to comfort her. And when the EG Twilight begs for forgiveness, the EG Rainbow replies yes by simply hugging her with her pony twin watching. It also be nice if someone similar to Uncle Ben and Peter Parker were on board; homage to the Spider-Man films. And if the Uncle Ben dies, he dies sacrificing himself to decoy the Storm King to help the Rainbows; remind the Mane ones of responsibility.
