After about 6 minutes, the salesgirl stops spraying the perfume and the small cloud around her subject quickly dissipates, leaving a confused & heavily amnestic Applejack in its wake. By now, nearly all of the blonde-haired teen’s memories (even ones regarding her beloved family & friends) have been erased by the perfume, leaving her unable to remember anything pertaining to her identity. The only key memories that remain are the girl’s knowledge of how to walk and speak. Looking back at the salesgirl, Applejack asks if she knows who she is, to which the salesgirl replies by fibbing that Applejack is her employee and that she’s supposed to be unloading the rest of her merchandise and setting up her booth next to the lifeguard tower, pointing to the beach parking lot where she’s parked a minivan loaded with boxes of Forget-Me-Lots perfume. Although she is a bit unsure about this, Applejack decides to trust the salesgirl and quickly sprints off to unload the van. As she watches her ‘employee’ go, the salesgirl quietly muses to herself about how she’ll soon have the chance to try out her perfume on everyone at the beach and, eventually, all of Canterlot City………
