Nana Peppermint Patty (Pepper), mother of Jamie, mother-in-law of Heather, grandma of Ginger and Cinnamon.
 
 
Personality:
 
Tiny pint sized ball of loving grandma ENERGY  
Will knit you a dozen sweaters in two shakes of a lambs tail  
She may be old but she’s still spry and spunky as a filly  
Very perceptive, and knows that just about any small problem can be cured with a cup of her ultra-delicious, super secret recipe hot chocolate, which along with making sweets, is her special talent.  
She’s pretty loud and motivating in general and a tad perfectionist when it comes to baking  
Occupation/Hobbies:
 
Former captain of a ship, one she and her hubby built from scratch, and sailed around delivering baked goods and her famous hot chocolate to all sorts of far off places  
After retiring from traveling, they built the bakery they live in today  
Now she’s content to stay in their quaint little town by the sea and tell her baking adventures to her grandkids and just about anybody who’ll listen  
You’ll often find her flying around the town doing errands for Jamie or catching up with old friends. Or you’ll find her sitting with a cat on her lap and reading a good swashbuckling, romance, thriller in her favorite comfy chair in the cafe. Or she’ll be in the kitchen whipping up a fresh pot of steaming hot chocolate.  
Relationships:
 
Loves her family and friends dearly, but if you mess with them she WILL bite your nose, (if she can reach that is)  
She’s extremely proud of Jamie, her dear “little” boy, and raised him to take over the bakery, which he has.  
She loves Heather like a daughter and really enjoys their outings and conversations.  
Her grandkids Ginger and Cinnamon are her babies and she’d do absolutely anything for them. They often do all sorts of things together, running off on short adventures, searching for buried treasure, or just working alongside each other in the cafe.  
She’s basically like a third sibling to them, but they still respect and acknowledge her as their silly, rambunctious Nana Pepper.
