The aptly-named Kolaky Jake is the son of Donut Joe and Moondancer. This big guy has inherited the best of both worlds - Mama’s intelligence and Pa’s great eye for business. And his great sense of taste, too! Most often called Jake for short, this fella usually spends his time helping his Pa run his donut shop. Despite living in the very heart of Canterlot, this personable, friendly stallion is quite down-to-earth and is happily content with his fairly simple lifestyle.
 
 
He specializes in, of course, in creating new recipes for his dad’s sweet creations, and occasionally helping his Ma in the classroom (sans the magic, of course). Despite being a mere pastry pony, Jake has more than once blown away others with his intelligence - and not just about donuts. Jake has quite the fascination with chemistry, which helps him create the best recipes for his dad’s experiments. And his ingenious ideas have certainly captured the eye of a certain baker. Friend or foe has yet to be determined…
