As Grace and Archwire got older, Archwire began to admire Grace for her appearance, but there were some things that he didn’t “like” about her. Knowing very well that Grace had a very quiet and passive behavior, he would try to make her do things against her will just for his own benefit, and he would threaten or yell at Grace if she didn’t agree with him. Fortunately, Grace was very clever, and if there were some situations that made her uncomfortable, she would stay out of them, and rightfully so, so whenever Archwire tried to boss her around, she would leave him on his own.
 
To those of you who are wondering why isn’t Grace wearing her silver heart necklace, this takes place before she met Handsome Lullaby.
