White Night has a little sister on the autism spectrum. He has been like a guardian angel for her. Nightlight’s emotions can be extreme and unpredictable. Fortunately, he has always been there to give the emotional support she needs. When she gets out of control, he can contain the damage.
 
White Night’s sister has often been a nightmare for him to raise. At the same time, she has been his dream come true! Nightlight is very much attached to her big brother. He is one of few who really make her feel safe and warm. She hardly hugs her own parents – but she loves hugging him!
 
White Night teaches his sister that life is about friendship. Learning to open her heart to new people will mean going far outside her comfort zone. But Nightlight’s brother will always be there when she needs him. With the right attitude, Nightlight finds that “Unicorn Syndrome” does not have to be a handicap. Instead, it can be a different perspective in the world of friendship!
