Backstory: Lolly Pop was born in the Smokey Mountains of Equestria to parents who were both rock miners. When she was a filly, she had to learn how to mine rocks, which she didn’t like because it was often difficult for her, and the environment was very harsh. One day, however, when Lolly was out mining rocks, she discovered that there was candy in them. When she showed her parents her discovery, they were excited and decided to start their own rock candy business. As Lolly Pop got older, she moved to Ponyville to pursue a more comfortable life, and that was where she met her martial arts master Kai.
 
During her training, Lolly also befriended Uni-Candy after realizing that they have the same passion for candy-making. However, Lolly was more relaxed compared to Candy, who was more hyperactive and sometimes broke the rules. They eventually befriended the rest of the trainees, which were DJ Emo, Skateboard Jo, and Flora, after the discovery that they all had feelings for their master (Lolly began to have feelings for Kai after realizing that her training with him allowed her to escape from her emotional troubles, and there were moments about him that made her blush). The five friends remained close to one another since then.
 
When the Nirik King was about to return to Equestria, Lolly Pop and her friends all met Sugar Mele, whom they would later look up to as their leader. Sugar first met Lolly Pop and Uni-Candy when she got distracted by the smell of their candy that led her to the Ponyville Confectionery, and she tried all of their candy. Because of Lolly’s friendship with Sugar, she was inspired to make even more candy, and even served them during Sugar’s coronation after the defeat of the Nirik King. Lolly also learned to never give up and to keep working hard no matter how rough life may be.
 

 
To be honest, I’m half-disappointed with how Lolly Pop’s mane turned out. I know that it’s a redesign, but I’m thinking about changing it up later.
 
EDIT: I have finally changed her design, and I think it looks much better. However, you can still see what her “old” redesign looked like here.
