Princess Valentine is the youngest daughter and fifth child of Cadence and Shining Armor. Valentine works as a Wedding Dress Designer and works with her best friend and business partner Cupid, who works as a Matchmaker.  
Valentine falls in love very easily, and this results in many heartbreaks for the young mare.
 
Valentine gets along well with all her siblings, but especially her twin brother Bolero.
