Booyah! JUST managed to finish this up in time for the holidays, and since I’m in a bat pony mood I decided to use my cutest bat for my first use of this new Hearths Warming Meme. Drawing Nightshift being adorable the way he does best was very nice and fun.
Also an excuse for him to show off some of his many different sunglasses and shades. ’Cuz he got special eyes.

In my headcanon the Bat POnies are their own species, but never part of the original three tribes. So they never took part in the first Hearths Warming, meaning they don’t have it as a tradition themselves. But Nightshift is from a mixed family, his father a Canterlot Unicorn, so he was brought up to celebrate it. Even after his parents got divorced, his mother’s side of the family tries to keep up with the tradition for his sake. Nopony wanna disappoint that cute a colt.
