The mare wonders who lived in this apartment that her fiancé broke into. Looking around more however she notices there are no personal effects, nor is there very much furniture. She is quite sure no one lived here before, or if they did then their property has since been removed.
She thinks of maybe searching the kitchen fireplace on Antoine’s side, but then she remembers the coded book. Antoine thought they were important enough to keep after all. Perhaps there is something important there? It’d take some time, but perhaps the sooner she got to it the better. Maybe she should take a different action altogether?
