Wow, MLP is really ending soon. It’s so crazy to think that I was on my couch when the first episode aired. It’s kind of sad to see this generation go, but hopefully the next generation will be even more!
 
A quick little redesign for Twilight. I want to do the mane six and a few others. There are a lot of great redesigns out there!! I love the more Unicorn-tail for unicorns than regular horse tails. For this I wanted to stick with Twilight’s color scheme, but I couldn’t help with putting a gradient on her mane and tail. I’m not sure how it works when it’s cut and it grows back, but it always grows back with the gradient. I also wanted to do a sort of choppy/messy design to show how much Twilight is into her studies. She doesn’t have time to go get her mane and tail properly cut! She just chops it herself so it’s all sorts of messy. Sort of inspired by the french fry girl herself, Tsurumaki Kokoro from BanG Dream!
 
I also redesigned her cutie mark. She doesn’t start off with the colored dots around her main star. She gets them after the battle with Nightmare Moon and awakening the Elements of Harmony.
 
Also she wears big glasses all the time. We need more characters with glasses. I just didn’t draw them on her. Big ones. Very good.
