Of all the things I’ve used sub-panels for, zooming in on Twilight’s distant expressions in the bottom row might be my new favorite.

Discord: I don’t know, why don’t you ask that smart cookie Applejack? Or maybe Fluttershy can give you a short and sweet answer.
Twilight Sparkle: …Rrrrrrrngh.
Discord: Friendship is YOUR specialty, Sparkle. You handle your domain, while I tend to mind: Glorious, long-overdue CHAOS.
SFX: (SNAP!) (FLASH!)
DM: …And with that, Discord disappears with his usual flair?
Discord GM: Soon after, pink clouds gather over what remains of the royal gardens.
DM: Uh-oh.
Discord GM: That’s right! It’s chocolate rain on your parade.
DM: Y’know, I never asked; why chocolate rain?
Discord GM: It’s just such an efficient opener. What else says “magical chaos” quite like food-flavored weather? …Or would that be weather-flavored food?
