I finally took the leap and made a plush of my OC, Whirlwind Flux!
 
The first stallion I have made on the 30 inch pattern, there were many firsts with this plush. A new way of doing the applique for the eyes and cutie marks that I had hoped would save time, but only improved the quality of the finished plush. All hand sewn areas (mane, tail, wings, neck and ears) are double reinforced as traveling to cons can be rough on a big handmade plush like this.
 
I can’t wait to bring him with to the next pony con I plan to attend!
 
He is made with soft minky fabric and stuffed with polyester fill. All details, including eyes and cutie mark are appliqued on - no embroidery here! Whirlwind Flux measures 30 inches from hoof to hoof.
 
Whirlwind Flux took about 40 hours to make.
 
Fun Fact, I would have made him sooner but I had a difficult time finding the right color minky for his eyes.
