Dovely is one of my most miserable characters in the Roseverse  
He switches from bed-bound and teary eyed to cynical and emotionless.
 
Dove is a model and playmate type character and while he’s always been proud of his good looks, tends to feel a bit used at the end of the day. He doesn’t feel like he’s good at anything else so he’s riding on his good looks until they fail.  
It’s definitely not a happy life.
