Matcha, as expected, doesn’t notice his friends glower as he draws closer. He waves. “Hey, Hazy! Sorry I’m late.” Seeing his easy smile, Hazy felt a little less annoyed but he couldn’t help but give a pointed look at the mares following Matcha.
“…Who are these mares?”
“Oh, this is Twinkle and Glitter.” He pointed to the two. “They were lost so I was helping them with directions.”
“…Again?” This was no the first time Matcha had shown up with a gaggle of mares in his wake. How he managed to do this every time was becoming a long term concern for Hazy.
Matcha scratched his head, looking embarrassed. “What can I say? Apparently I have a trustworthy face.” Again, he smiled and the ponies around him swooned. Hazy, having been exposed to this smile often, remained undazed. The mares blushed and drew closer.
“Really, thank you so much, Mr…?” The unicorn pressed.
“You can call me MT or Green Tea.”
“Oh? Then perhaps you can call me?”
“Oh, sure.” Matcha waved as they sashayed aaway, unaware of the flirtation. “See ya, ladies!”
“See ya, hot stuff.” They muttered, giggling to themselves. HAzy glared at their backs as Matcha turned to him.
“So, what did you want to do today, Hazy?”
“…This is why I can’t take you anywhere.”
