I run an RP about an Equestrian airship out on patrol during something of a Cold War between Equestria and a rising griffon empire. This sphinx, Gist, in the distant country of Gwenkyn, acts as a regular informant for the players in the campaign who are acting as spies in addition to crewing their airship. At this point she’s now gone something of a double-agent for the Equestrians, a dangerous game. I imagine the stress of that is getting to her and she’s snuck herself a drink, which she normally never does on the job. But the hostile empire asked her to do a job, and she couldn’t tell them “no” without fearing for her life, so now she’s playing double-agent. Double-informant? Well she directed the empire to one of the players who then became a double-agent, so something like that.
 
Overheated and exhausted from a long, anxious day, she’s falling asleep under the hot evening sun.
 
Whatever happened to those good old days when she got to just run her shop in peace? Now it’s all these life and death spy games…
