So many Cheesepie feels after “The Last Laugh” my little heart couldn’t handle not drawing something, so here we go!
Below is some Cheesepie canon in the Dawnverse (warning it’s kinda mushy): |
---|
Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich certainly did not plan on having a foal: they only got married a year prior and the two ran a successful party planning business, so a child was the last thing they needed. Yet here was Pinni, the party planners’ new little pink filly, an unexpected miracle. Cheese did not learn of his daughter until he arrived home to find Pinkie, a surprise party for him, and Pinni the VIP! After that first party, things grew chaotic in the Pie household. Between running a full-time party planning business and raising a rambunctious and energetic filly, Pinkie and Cheese rarely got enough sleep to function, especially since Pinni loved crying all night long. Despite the sleepless nights and messes greater than the work of a party canon, the party planners embraced parenthood as much as they treasured coffee and sugary treats, especially Cheese himself. Unlike Pinkie and her large family (which she felt included the Cake Twins), Cheese grew up as an only shy child in a cold home, hence him running away at a young age. With his nomadic lifestyle and sometimes obnoxious desire to throw extravagant parties, Cheese never felt he’d ever settle down and raise his own family. Obviously that view changed as he held his little daughter in his arms, the sweetest treat in his life. After the first month of raising Pinni, Cheese volunteered to be the stay-at-home dad so he could grow close to his sweet little daughter while helping his wife live their dreams. From that moment onward, Cheese became to self-proclaimed #1 goofiest dads in Equestria, at least that’s what it says on his mug. |
Both Pinkie and Cheese felt they only needed laughter in their lives to feel fulfilled; however, with Pinni, the couple began feeling there was more to life than laughter and parties. |
