Allegory: Are you busy?  
Stellar: [looks up from some books] Hey there! Well…the Law, “our mother”, would require I say “yes”. However, I’ve sat here for entirely too long revisiting the old Friendship Journals. Come, sit!
 
Allegory scampers over to the bed and hops on. In his magical aura, a thick tomb is levitated over.
 
Stellar: Is that my-  
Allegory: Personal Homebrew Spellbook? Yes! I really love these spells and I couldn’t help but try them out!  
Stellar: I’m flattered! Though let me know next time that you’ve taken it. I was a little panicked that I’d lost it.  
Allegory: Sorry! I’ll remember next time! QUESTION.  
Stellar: Yes?  
Allegory: Why don’t you share these with others in Ponyville and beyond?! You’re the first Unicorn to make spellcasting available to Earth Pony and other non-spellcasting types! You’d be famous!  
Stellar: I don’t know. Honestly, my studies keep me pretty busy. Spells are sort of a hobby!  
Allegory: A hobby that gave you your cutiemark! Mom and dad would be so thrilled!  
Stellar: I might. You’re incredibly sweet, Allegory. I don’t think I deserve the amount of praise you give me.  
Allegory: You deserve more! Now please, teach me about this spell you call “The Tree of Light”  
Stellar: [smiles warmly]
 

 
Twilight’s two sons Allegory and Stellar Rays were the closest in their youth.  
Stellar had several thick volumes of homebrew spells that were modified and simplified to allow any creature to use them. He developed a levitation spell for non-spellcasters that in time he modified further to allow for multitasking. He was brilliant…but unfit to rule.
