NATG 2019 day 5: Draw a pony snatching victory from the jaws of defeat / Draw a pony following their hopes and dreams.
 
Diamond Tiara’s first election victory, a very near thing. Her lingering reputation as a spoiled brat nearly sunk her, but the tireless efforts of her dearest friends won just enough voters to her side to pull out a win.
 
Going back to a 30 minute challenge pic I did back when the Crusaders helped Diamond Tiara figure out what her cutie mark actually meant, and in the process earned their own cutie marks. The tiara is a symbol of leadership, and DT learned that this meant more than just expecting others to give you whatever you want. I figured it would guide DT down a political path. Her look here, as in the original doodle I did, is heavily inspired by Mayor Mare.
