So I wasn’t really feeling my first redo of Amethyst. The colors, to me, weren’t really meshing together and nothing seemed to flow in my opinion. his hair was too dark, his magic aura was too light, nothing was working. So I decided to bring back his first color scheme but I kept the blue eyes. I like the blue eyes, although I made his eyes in this one a little lighter and his magic aura is a little darker. I also gave him Rarity’s tail mostly to see what is would look like, but honestly, I’m kinda digging it so I kept it and made it shorter. I also gave him a gradient at the back of his mane because I felt like he needed more gradients. This is my FINAL REDO. I did all caps mostly for me so I know this is it and there will be no more changes. Amethyst probably has one of my favorite designs (Sweetie Hearts being the other even if she looks like Pinkie Pie) even over my own ponysona, Sunrise Dazzle. Is that sad? Does anyone care? Probably not.
 
I suck at doing the sparkles for the magic auras. They never look right to me.
