Personality/Background:
A bit brass and outspoken, the first impression of Dream Weaver leaves many ponies hesitant to talk to her a second time. Mostly because she tells it like it is and does not care to spare feelings along the way. If she’s been taught anything in her life, it’s that you got to look out for numero uno. Yourself! You can’t rely on anybody and you shouldn’t be required to even listen to anyone else! Live your life however you want. This is the way of like and everyone needs to know that!
That is, she thought this way up until high school when she fell unexpectedly pregnant.
It was with a dude that she was seeing casually, they didn’t really consider themselves colt and mare friends. Just an on and off type thing. They weren’t even really friends. So when she came up to him and told him that she was pregnant? The dude bolted. Not that she could really blame him. They were still just kids, he didn’t deserve to be drug down with her. Her parents were furious when they learned about the baby through the hidden pregnancy test that she had tried to dispose of. Her parents snooped through her room and found it. And when she decided she was keeping it? Hoo boy did that set off a bomb in their relationship.
Not long after that, she was gone. Moved out and dropped out of school, she sucked at it anyways, to try and persue a job so that she could afford to take care of the little fuzzy lump growing inside of her. She was bitter about the pregnancy at first, but as she found a job, found a place to stay with the help of her friend Stormfront and his family, and settled down, she grew excited to finally meet her little troublemaker.
This foal had been life changing, at first, Dream Weaver had been convinced that it was for the worse and that she had made a mistake in keeping her, but once she was born? Everything made sense. Firefly was amazing.
Relationships:
She has a very strained relationship with her parents, they were not accepting of her decisions and honestly, up before she left, they were shitty parents. They were neglectful, always had short tempers with her and would often pawn her off to her friends parents whenever the opportunity arose. But they also had good traits to them. They, when they actually cared to look at her and spend time with her, were actually pretty chill ponies, just so long as you kept the peace around them. They honestly wanted the best for her, but they went about it all the wrong ways and about a year after having Firefly, Dream started trying to mend her burned bridges with them. It’s tough and they still butt heads a lot, but they love Firefly and she doesn’t want to deprive them of their granddaughter. So she’s making an effort for them and they’re trying to do the same. They’re all just so stubborn, it’s slow going
She made quite a few friends back in high school and the close knit community that is Ponyville. Many ponies her age tend to keep her at arms length because she’s just a bit too blunt for them, but not all ponies. Stormfront is like, her best friend ever. He helped her land a place to live and actually his parents let her couch crash while she was pregnant and gave her somewhere to get on her feet and find a job before sending her off amicably. She loves RD and Thunderlane. They’re really cool and they have an awesome son.
Her and Stormfront are the types of friends to insult one another constantly and play roughly but at the end of the day, it’s all in good fun and these two would go to the ends of the earth for one another. Ride or die bros.
However not everypony that she spends her time with is someone she treats nicely. Sadly, Firefly has attached herself to Ambrosia Apple, a little filly that always manages to get under Dream’s skin and grind her every last nerve. They’ve gotten into a fair share of fights back in the day because she was a bit of a bully when she was younger and would pick on her cousin Suncrisp but once Stormy came to defend him too, she backed off.

Special:
- Diagnosed ADHD and had a lot of difficulties in school because of it. The medication however, would zombify her basically and she hated taking it so when she hit high school, she learned how to fake being calm around her parents but would refuse to take the medication and still doesn’t to this day. She hates it.
- She’s always been facinated with dreams and their meanings. Heck, upon getting her first dream interpretation book and taking to it amazingly, she managed to get her cutie mark by talking Storm through what his dreams meant and the likely best ways to help remeidy it. Now she makes it her profession.
- She’s a bit distant when it comes to actual physical affection when it has actual meaning behind it. Mushy feelings are difficult to deal with and she doesn’t really understand it. She’s this way with everyone except Firefly who she actually pouts over the foal not wanting to snuggle! Please! Mama wants a hug!
-One of the reasons why she and Ambrosia don’t get along well is because she learned about how her mother, Fluttershy, got “turned” into one and how she sees it as such a bad thing that she gets some bat pony traits. As if it’s /so/ bad to be a bat pony!
