Backstory: Being the older brother of Aria, he pretty much considers himself to be superior to her just because he’s older and more experienced at art, singing, and writing than Aria, but is the opposite when it comes to magic and mythology. Even though he and his sisters don’t always get long, he still loves them no matter what. He often gets along with their mother, despite a few issues.
 
Canon doesn’t remember much about his father when he was a colt, especially since his father had left his mother just before he was born. Throughout his life, Canon had been interested in anything related to arts, literature, and music, even when it came to some changes in his family. He didn’t make it to Celestia’s School, but he still went to school (In my MLP Universe, there’s more than one school in Canterlot) and learned to become a better pony. He eventually grew up to become an aspiring dancer, writer, and artist, and ended up having a love interest despite their differences. Despite the hardships he’s faced along with his family, he’s still happy with himself, no matter what happens, and wishes that Equestria would be free from conflict forever.
