Really two things stood out for me from the episode outside of everything else.
One was the fact that Scootaloo never got adult wings.
Basically solidifying (since “The Washouts”) that she is long-term disabled and will never be able to fly by herself thru normal means. I felt REALLY sad from this, as im sure many of you did aswell. But i am happy the writers choose to address the fact that not everyone can be magically fixed, and there are people who dont have it as fortunate as others. Something that acknowledging in a kids show like MLP (or Arthur for ex.) is really quite admirable. And I am VERY happy that Scootaloo dosent let it get her down
The second thing was if the episode was really a good choice for the CMC’s last focus episode?
These 3 little Fillies have been centered in the fandom’s heart for so long, and fully deserved a final-centered episode, and this one did pretty well, but was it necessary? Seeing as how they all appeared in the final episode of the series as full adults working at the school of friendship, their send-off within the conclusion was already established. Basically, if we already see them grown up later on, was this episode really necessary? I LOVE when the writers put fans into consideration, and i feel this episode was intended to make the fans happy. Im just not sure. Dont get me wrong, the episode was still good, im just trying to figure out if it took away potential impact from the last episode….
What to you all think? Was this episode a truly worthy send-off for the CMC? Could they have done better/worse? Would it have been more meaningful to have seen them all grown up in the final episode, without EP 22? What was the best/most memorable part about this episode?
PLEEZ comment down below it you have some personal input you wanna share about this.
Again, just my personal opinion. This episode still remains Amazing in my eyes
