For the past few weeks, Twilight Sparkle has been her normal panicky self. The last day of school is approaching quickly, and although final exams are over, Twilight has been stressing herself out with her extra-credit work, thank-you cards to her teachers, and selecting her classes for the next school year. Pinkie Pie sees that her friend’s worrisome attitude is wearing her out and decides to help her by using a new geode skill that she’s been working on. After finding the purple-skinned girl alone in one of her classrooms after school, Pinkie walks over in front of Twilight’s desk and excitedly says she has something to show her. Twilight looks up at her friend and begins to decline has she has things she needs to do, but is surprised to see Pinkie clutching her geode with her eyes shut as she channels her magic. When the party girl opens her eyes again, they have changed into blue and pink spirals that Twilight finds strangely alluring and relaxing. After a moment of staring into them, Twilight’s eyes soon become spirals themselves and a blissful smile forms on her face. At the same time, her mind becomes blank and very open to suggestion. Seeing that her friend is now fully hypnotized, Pinkie (her eyes having returned to normal) tells Twilight that she’s been stressed out far too much in her life and that she is going to fix that, proceeding to tell the hypnotized bookworm that when she comes out of hypnosis, she will be a happy, carefree party girl much like herself. Once Twilight agrees to the alterations on her psyche, Pinkie snaps her fingers to end the session and while the spirals in Twilight’s eyes have disappeared, the pink-haired girl’s conditioning has stuck strongly. Jumping excitedly to her feet, Twilight begins gushing over how excited she is for the last day of school and begins listing off ideas for an end-of-the-year party she’s going to have. The purple-skinned bookworm even releases her hair from its ponytail as a symbol of her new way of life. A few minutes later, Twilight and Pinkie (who is content that her friend is now at peace) are walking down the hallway together, chatting and raving about all the fun they’re going to have over summer vacation…..
