It struggled, wriggling around as hard as it could before Coxal bit down on its shell with a satisfying crunch. The worm fell limp.
Coxal shook it just to make sure it was fully dead. The creatures around here didn’t taste the best, but they were still pretty good, and filling.
Probably better than whatever phlem they’re serving in there. she thought, as her eyes drifted to the Hive. Yeah, its probably all chewy plants and…and mushy gunk…
She looked down at her half-eaten breakfast. Purple worm-meat stained the dry grass below it.
Ah, forget it. I need a change of diet anyway.
