DM: I’m sorry, I don’t have the next Equestria adventure ready yet, but I borrowed this new Halo game I thought we could try out.
Rainbow Dash: Sweet! I love it already!
Rarity: Well, variety IS the spice of life, I suppose. I’m game.
DM: I’ve got some pregens here and – whoop! That was fast.
Rainbow Dash: I got what I need right here. This CQB guy gets a sweet assault rifle and can attack even after moving double his speed!
Applejack: Ah git one of those rifles too, but as Demolitions, Ah also git this handy grenade launcher.
Rainbow Dash: Whoa! I want one of those!
Rarity: I, however, chose a more delicate approach. As the Scout, I have an armor-piercing sniper rifle and a cloaking device.
Pinkie Pie: I got the Hayabusa class! I get a COOOOOL katana! I can also make copies of myself. I’m my own party!
Rainbow Dash: Why does she get a katana? This is a sci-fi game!
DM: It’s to balance out the Covenant energy swords.
Rainbow Dash: Can I get-?
DM: Sorry. Class feature.
Rainbow Dash: And what sort of cool features do you guys get?
Fluttershy: Oh, I picked the Medic. I deploy healing fields and only carry a pistol.
Twilight Sparkle: And I’m a Soldier. I get some extra health and ammo with no special powers.
Rainbow Dash: Nothing I’m missing then.
Twilight Sparkle: I also get to start with any weapons I want, so I took a laser cannon and a rocket launcher!
Rainbow Dash: GAH!!!!
DM: Alright, I’m getting a nice game out, like Risk.
