This picture started out like I was going to draw it the toony way, and then I didn’t. Also, the background mountains have two tones, and everything else has one. So yeah it might look a little weird, I might go back and DX it at a later time…
 
Anyhoo, three things about Tempest:
 
• Tempest is wifey. Please be OK and happy, woobie scar pony.  
• No cutie mark has ever been shown for her. This design for one just abruptly flew into my head (based on the fireworks she performs as her first Good Deed). I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere before, but I was unable to find anything. Let me know if you figure it out! I feel like I subconsciously stole somebody’s cool fantasy RPG graphic or something…  
• There’s no strong implication that Tempest’s scarred eye has compromised sight at all, but I like to draw that one as different from the other and interpret her as not being able to see well out of it. I’ll experiment with various ways to depict this in future artwork of Tempest. Don’t Google cataracts, they’re creepy.
