A Bragoman Gallus is a Gallus that was created using Brahma(putra) chicken DNA, to make it large, fluffy, and gentle. This strain is named after “Bragoman”, or the legendary kingdom of Bragmanni in eastern India from Sir John Mandeville’s legends.
It was originally created as a request from the Crown Prince of the Rajahdom of Sindhuloka to decorate his splendid palace, on an colonised desert planet orbiting a star somewhere in the constellation of Perseus. However, the Crown Prince had given several Bragomans away as gifts to his subjects, which then led to the popularity of the strain in adjacent galactic colonies across the southern Perseum Arm. Unfortunately, only a few of those Galluses can understand (let alone speak in) human languages, and those that did so were mutants modified by our scientists.
