A few days after the incident at the Starswirl Music Festival, Sunset Shimmer decides that the Dazzlings should reform like the rest of their recent enemies and gets the perfect idea on how to do it. She invites the three sirens to the school gymnasium under the promise of granting them new pendants. Once they arrive, Adagio demands that Sunset hand over the new pendants and she does, presenting the girls with three star-shaped necklaces. The sirens immediately put them on and are about to leave, when all of a sudden they start to feel dizzy and light-headed. The necklaces, as it turns out, were purposely infected with Equestrian magic from the portal by Sunset and cause whoever wears them to instantly become the kindest, friendliest people on the planet. And now that the Dazzlings have fallen under this spell (causing their eyes to gain an additional green ring), Sunset hopes that they can embrace the ways of friendship like most of the Rainbooms’ foes have….
